# 10YearChallenge : I am happy, single and strong
Wed asked you, dear readers to take the #10YearChallenge.

Thank you for your responses !

Bengaluru resident Heera Nawaz shared her photographs and said that life has changed for the better in the last one decade:

In the year 2009, I was a struggling, ambitious but apprehensive teacher in an international school.

I was eager to make it big and be the best teacher that I could possibly be.

I was plump, over weight but a devoted teacher who understood that a teacher has to be well groomed and well informed.

Fast forward 10 years and two schools later, I am now at Cambridge School. I have taken a break in order to recuperate my health.

In these years, I have readily shared wonderful gems of teaching which I continue doing by writing for the education supplement of the Deccan Herald newspaper.

Age is catching up with me as I only have a year and half left before I retire. I am eager to make the most of this time.

I try to make my teaching interesting, and I fully endorse the belief that We teachers are in it not for the income. We’re in it for the outcome.

I am happily single and feel very liberated, strong and independent.

There are no qualms of my getting married. At the same time I am old-fashioned and naïve enough to believe there is nothing more beautiful than a happy marriage based on true love.

I feel you shouldn’t compete with a man; instead, you should complete him!

I want to write a book on Marriage Vs. Single Life.

My New Year resolutions have now become my bucket list. I want to travel, go rafting and bungee jumping.

But before that I want to write my book. Thats my dream and goal for this awesome New Year !

Tauqir Ahmad from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand shared his story:

In 2008, I was single, energetic and sporty.

Today, I live and work in Abu Dhabi, UAE and have three kids (Alhamdullilah).

I have managed to maintain my weight between 78 and 80 kg.

I have become more energetic thanks to competing with my kids both at home and at the park.

I have also become a good caretaker.

Life has changed a lot since I became a father.

After work, I am excited to reach home quickly.

My kids are also waiting to play with me.

I thank Almighty for giving me such cute kids.
